WASHTED updates WATERSPOUTT General Assembly in Stellenbosch, South Africa

Tracy Morse and Kingsley Lungu attended the WATERSPOUTT General Assembly from 29th – 31st May at the University of Stellenbosch. The WASHTED team updated the consortium on activities and progress in the development of Work Package 3, Solar-Ceramic system being developed and tested in Malawi. They provided an overview of the system development and testing with Buckinghamshire New University, University Rey Juan Carlos and CIEMAT, and the concurrent social science work being undertaken in partnership with Maynooth University to support user uptake. The meeting, attended by 18 partners from across Africa and Europe, also had the chance to visit sites of the rainwater solar reactor being developed under Work Package 2 in Enkhanini.
